Anyone noticing lots of SUVs with for sale signs in people's yards?

In my area, I have noticed LOTS of SUVs for sale. I guess its hard to afford the note, the insurance, and the gas when oil is over 50 dollars a barrel.

So are you all noticing the same trend? Lots of folks putting their battlewagons up for sale?

1. Yes, I have noticed...

Big SUV owners like Hummers and the Navigator/Escalade crowds don't care if oil goes to 100 dollars a barrel.

However, the Durango, Exterra, Blazer, Expedition crowds are selling and I have noticed folks dumping Exterras left and right!

LOTS of Expeditions and that class vehicles for sale here. Mississippi.

3. In Los Angeles I have noticed..................

fewer SUVs overall on the road, but I am still seeing lots of the huge ones and Hummers. Those belong to the "fuck the environment, fuck my fellow man" crowd who don't care about the price of gas and maybe even WANT to make it more expensive just to hurt the "little people".

4. No, but I do notice a lot of SUVs

with those yellow ribbons and Bush stickers on them.

5. YES!

I have noticed--! Interesting to see it's not just here in NJ.

I saw three today: people had their SUV in front of their house or on the street with a "for sale" sign on it.

Sign of the times!

I've been waiting for the day when those things aren't worth a plug nickel!!

11. I HAVE seen a lot of HOUSES for sale...

12 for sale signs in my (typically suburban) neighborhood. WAY too many.
