My song of the night, Wild Horses as done by Gram Parsons
Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted I bought them for you
Graceless lady you know who I am
You know I can’t let you slide through my hands

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn’t drag me away

I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn’t drag me away

I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don’t have much time
Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
Let’s do some living after we die

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we’ll ride them some day

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we’ll ride them some day
(and I swore I would never ever like country music, then again Gram was like altern country in my dad's words, this music is just great. and Ive been listening to punk all day.)

5. It's the Manson I confiscated from my son's friend this past weekend...
It has 'beautiful people" on it.

I love Johnny Cash because all of his songs tell stories, and there is usually a great moral to each story.

The LL Cool J CD--I have to wait until my kid goes to bed. It has very explicit language.

6. hah
Your son listens to Marilyn Manson, that stuff was too hardcore for me. Remember I like classical stuff a lot too, but really Rock Against Bush is great, as is American Idiot.

8. haha he needs to be more subtle
or get a pair of headphones. I dont like Manson, too hardcore for me, then again I'd recommend some traditional stuff because I am the perennial nerd.

2. Gram Parsons probably wrote most of that song
when he was hanging out with the Stones.
