The Sight Of Bush's Face And The Sound Of His Voice
make me ill. It turns my stomach.

Honestly. I'm not just saying that as a figure of speech... I literally find him to be nauseating.

Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 12:35 PM by mark414
recently broke his remote after throwing it at the TV after he heard bush talking about the iraq war

this guy has never voted democrat in his life and he probably hates the bush gang more than i do, and that's saying a LOT

EDIT: i should also include that i'm also nauseated by the sight/sound etc. of the man...my voice went hoarse during the only night of the rnc that i watched, half of pataki and most of * from yelling at the tv so much

16. No kidding.
At the local Dem headquarters, there's an elderly man and his wife who volunteer. Guess what? They're Republicans and they "want him out so badly".

13. Same with several Republican relatives of mine
One, who has NEVER voted Democrat, mailed me a Kerry t-shirt.

3. Reagan's swagger made me ill
Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 12:40 PM by enoel2
But Bush's smirk, fake Texas accent, anti-intellectual attitude, swagger, effing-smug look ... it all adds up to my not being able to stomach *any* of him. The debates are out for me.

If I rode the ski lift with him (and he wasn't famous), I'd still refer to him as a 'stupid touron' after we skiied off at the top. He epitomizes 'ugly Texan'.

Apologies to Texans, there's just a few 'ugly Texans'.

4. My 96 year old father can't stand him either,
neither can my brother, my husband, a couple of my neighbors and out of town people that I know.

What is it about him that turns people's stomach so? Is it his arrogance, his lies, his manipulations?

And yet, while so many of us can't stand the sight or sound of him, you ought to see how Condoleezza Rice and Karl Rove look at him when he is talking....... they literally fawn over him and his every word.
It is all so sickening.

8. my mother said
that what bothers her the most about him is just the way he smirks and walks

she said he just LOOKS sneaky and dirty

she said that alone bothers her more than anything else (and she disagrees with him on pretty much every single issue)

5. I'm there too, Allen...
Watching the debates will be difficult -- such a massive dose of * over a 90-minute period.

I even find still photos of him stomach-turning.

6. Me too
I have a cast iron stomach, but I will actually fell nauseous seeing or hearing him. I have to force myself. Also to me, I have never, ever, ever seen him where he doesn't look like a total idiot. I always wonder, is it just me? I mean he can't look like an idiot all the time every time can he? I pointed this out to a friend from Jamaica, however, and she verified for me, that yes, he does look like an idiot all the time

10. You and me both. I'd throw something at the TV screen. . .
but I don't want to spend the money to replace it. So I use the remote and click on mute or switch to something else.

12. My 80 year old Dad said: "He looks like a possum"
"He eyes are too damn close together. How the hell can you vote for a guy who looks like a possum?" I love it!

and he makes monkey-lips whenever he tries to pronounce words with an "R" syllable in them.

The political cartoon caricatures aren't. They are portrait quality realistic.

15. hey, that's a great comparison!
Could explain why he froze up when told about 9/11 -- "Oooh, if I look glassy-eyed maybe it'll all go away".

And his hair does look kind of frizzled and patchy like a possum's.

18. I am the same way
I've never found anyone else in my lifetime more sickening and annoying than that pile of shit. I hate him,and when he pops up on tv I can't change the channel fast enough. The sound of that voice of his makes me want to throw a brick through the tv. How can so many people support that arrogant SOB? I don't understand it.
