I am going crazy with worry here.
I got a phone call from friend "B" that she received a phone call from friend "C" telling her that his estranged wife (my friend of 28 years) just had a stroke. The wife's current boyfriend wouldn't tell us where she is or even where my friend's daughter is. I cannot reach anyone & of course none of the hospitals will not even tell me if she is a patient.
So I am sitting here worrying & hoping someone calls me soon.

2. Does friend "C" not know where his ex is?
How did he find out she had a stroke? Have you talked to him?

4. I just got a call from the husband.
Daughter is now with dad, but boyfriend will not tell dad/husband/friend what hospital. I told him to call all of them, he is still her husband & should be able to get the info.
She is only 43 years old.

6. He should tell the dad/husband/friend what hospital she is in .
After all he is still her husband AND the father or HER child . Goodness . No time to be selfish .

8. I don't know the boyfriend at all,
but I am sure the wife has told him all kinds of horrible stories about the husband (not true). She may be a friend, but she has a little problem with reality sometimes. We are a bit estranged now because I know the truth about their problems & refuse to side with her. But that does not mean I'm any less worried about all of them.

11. just call every local hospital and ask to speak with patient, (name).
if, for some reason, they say she cannot receive calls, then ask for her condition.

12. HIPPA rules no longer permit that.
