5. The best way to see
the Bellagio show is from the top of the Eiffel Tower across the street. Go up there, stake out a good spot, and enjoy.

3. Did you go to the Stratosphere, and did it feel like the earth was shaking
while you were up there? I stayed there once for a convention, and it about made me sick. I could feel the thing swaying.
I hated Vegas, couldn't wait to get the hell outta there.

4. Not only did I go to the Stratosphere
But I toked up first and then went on the Freefall-type ride. Oh. My. God...was speechless after.

Vegas is much better enjoyed completely blottoed...I'd never want to do a convention there.

the weed at home (never sure about getting any stash through airports, ya know?) and I was just damn glad it was too freakin' cold to have the roller coaster running, or I KNOW my roomie woulda dragged me on that nightmare, YIKES....
I am not a huge fan of heights, and the thought of THAT roller coaster about gives me the willies...

21. I went on the roller coaster
Ugh - maybe I'm just too old for roller coasters. I agree on viewing the water show from the Eiffel Tower. It was gorgeous.

8. No - wanted to
Missed out on that and the jousting at the Excalibur...but one can only do so much in a sleepless 48-hour timeframe.

Out $80 - oh well. The money was better spent on drinks.

12. Would you say that Vegas is an inexpensive place to visit?
My friends want to go and I can't go if it's not cheap. I don't care about gambling or shows too much-but would go for the experience and to take some photographs.

14. If you don't gamble
It can be cheap. If you go midweek, the hotels are dirt cheap. The food is always cheap (if you do the buffett thing) and drinks are surprisingly cheap. They shows are about what you'd pay anywhere, but all in all not an expensive place.

15. yeah
it's pretty affordable, if you go during the week and don't need to stay at a top-level hotel. Just visiting every casino can be fun - there are plenty of free attractions.

You can also eat pretty cheaply, although it's not as good as it used to be. EVERY place used to have super-cheap buffets, but that's not the case anymore.
