3. I like them both for different reasons

My cat is a huntress of mice and bugs. She is fun to play with and a good companion to my dog.

My dog is a sweetheart, loyal and faithful. She's my home security system (well, her and a baseball bat under my bed, and a dagger in my dresser door). She loves the cat, too and they are great friends.

I couldn't possibly choose which one I liked better. I always had dogs, but the cat was an accidental thing-I almost ran her over with my car, so I brought her home to stay.
