2. Why 1966?
Does it not make more sense to put the line at 1970?

6. Well, you see...
...Revolver came out in 1966. Revolver, which was otherwise a brilliant record (yes, even Paul's songs) contained a little ditty Paul wrote for Ringo to sing called "Yellow Submarine."

Seeing that "Yellow Submarine" was the single worst pop song ever recorded by that point (although Sir Paul outdid himself many times later), I consider that to be the beginning of the end.

14. You do have a point...
...although I think the only reason anybody now takes Yellow Submarine seriously is because of the assinine shit Paul wrote in the 70s and 80s -- back then nobody thought it more than a joke. But the quality of stuff Paul wrote for Sgt. Pepper, White Album, MMT, Abbey Road, and you know "I've Got a Feeling" from Let It Be also kinda kicks my ass -- in my mind, at least, years 66-70 were his best years.

And then he got married.

3. That steaming turd never wrote "Freedom"
Clearly Sir Paul is on the losing end here.

4. JET!
Jet! Jet! Jet!
I Can Almost Remember Their Funny Faces
That Time You Told Me That
You Were Going To Be Marrying Soon.
And Jet, I Thought The Only
Lonely Place Was On The Moon.
Jet! Jet!

Jet! Was Your Father As Bold As A Sergeant Major?
How Come He Told You That
You Were Hardly Old Enough Yet?
And Jet, I Thought The Major
Was A Lady Suffragette.
Jet! Jet!

Ah, Matter, Want Jet To Always Love Me?
Ah, Matter, Want Jet To Always Love Me?
Ah, Matter, Much Later.

Jet! With The Wind In Your Hair Of A Thousand Laces.
Climb On The Back And We'll
Go For A Ride In The Sky.
And Jet, I Thought The Major
Was A Lady Suffragette

10. My father wanted to name me for that song.
Maximillian Wolfgang Jets. Yes, he was under the mistaken impression that the titular aircraft was plural.

*sigh*

9. I would go until 1970, at least.
"Maybe I'm Amazed" is a great song.

A post-'66 McCartney is utterly useless.
