What is the #1 superstar blog hosting place (and software)?
I'm thinking of starting a blog after I finally got a cool idea for one, but when you read the TOS for like blogspot and all that it's got all these restrictions and junk which could be construed as stuff that could take my blog down if people went and complained. Like if I went on a political rant or asked people to write so-and-so because of such-and-such, blogspot could turn tail and yank my junk not wanting to get involved and demolish months of work, seeing as they gave it to me so easily it doesn't matter if they get rid of it. Are there any cool hosting options where I wouldn't have to worry much about this kind of thing?

3. Host your own blog
Got a website? Then go to http://www.farook.org and download the Blog software named...ah...Blog. Blog is a combination editor and FTP client for easy publishing. And it's free! You can publish he blog to your own site and not have to worry about rules and such.

Support is at http://forums.farook.org, also free.

4. Livejournal
The original and still the best.

All 'dem youngins are using Xanga, which is just a cheap knockoff. Don't be duped.

5. That's odd - Atrios is on blogspot and he's quite outspoken
I wouldn't think reasonable discourse (something short of "kill the fuckers!") would be fine.
