Something cool you can do for your local party
My local party is not too savvy about marketing and advertising (and their budget is small). I attended a fund-raiser recently where there was a full day's lineup of some kick-ass music, but at any given time there were only about 40 people around. Everyone lamented the lack of advertising.

I happen to work at a small free weekly, so I told them I'd buy some good old-fashioned cheap advertising for their upcoming block party based on their flyer. (I have to buy the ad - the boss is a Limbaugh-lovin' fool.)

Anyway, check with your local party - see if they could use some publicity. I'd bet that many of them are like ours - always wishing they could afford publicity. There are papers like mine all over the place, and small display ads are very effective and affordable.

1. Good idea. I used to be in the biz and
will do some checking. Thanks.
