I don't see a thread..who watched Lost tonight?
I remember last week there was a pretty good thread on the premiere episode.

I thought tonight's was even better. It's really getting more into the characters but I love that they are not letting everything out except in dribs and drabs.

1. The thing they're doing right is that no one is who they seem to be.
Pleasantly spooky. Above average for network TV. Except fo the damn commercials!

4. You mean the frequency of commercial breaks?
Actually i like that. I know that sounds weird but it adds to the effect. It reminds me of how television dramas used to be. A commercial break came and there was a combined feeling of relief from the tension, but also anticipation of wanting the show to start back up again.

6. I like it....It will take some time...
Their hooks take a while to seep into the brain. But so far I like it.

My only gripe is the production. It's a little too up front, especially on the vocals. What I liked about Turn On The Bright Lights was the distant production that added to the moody vibe. That seems to be less prevalent on this one.

A minor complaint and other than that I like it so far.

10. I totally agree
That was the first thing I noticed, in fact. It bugged me less and less as I listened tho. It's still got that 'just slightly less despondant than Joy Division' feel to it, which is good. ;)

3. My dad thinks there's going to be dinosaurs
on the island. Have they explained what that stomping noise is yet?

I watched the last 10 minutes last week and thought it was decent.

5. I read an article that says its not dinosaurs...
That's all the creator of the show will say. But he says its not dinosaurs.

I didn't see the dog, but admittedly I missed the first 10-15 minutes or so.
