Hotmail ups email storage to 250MB, but
I have experienced difficulty loggin in. It seems that MSFT did not give enough bandwidth to their servers once people had the huge amount of storage with which to send and receive large attachments. Anyone else experience this?

1. I just tried emailing a photo today
to a woman I've met at a couple of Kerry events - she has a hotmail account, and the email was bounced. I can't remember the size of the file, but it wasn't small... (the picture was of her posing in front of the Kerry security guy who was totally hot :loveya:)

3. Have they upgraded their spam filter?
I let my hotmail address expire years ago because I got hundreds of spam emails every week.

5. they must, I rarely get spam any more
I won't dis them about spam, I never see a spam nowadays...heck, even "real" mail sometimes gets junked apparently. But I still only have 2 MB of storage! I hope I wake up tomorrow and they have remembered their old loyal customer who has stuck with them for all these years and beers.

I'm only a little bitter. :-(

Seriously, are you paying or something? I have the free service, and it is still never been upgraded. I have switched a lot of business to yahoo because they have so much more storage.

6. Same here
They promised upping the max to 125MB back in July, but they said that it would take some time to increase all the email accounts.

Almost four months later, and I'm still waiting.

At least Yahoo did it to all their boxes at once.

10. hotmail & 250 mb
My acct. was upgraded a short time ago; I think they may be upgrading in a piecemeal fashion. Here's what they say on one of the hotmail webpages:

"In addition to all the great features above, coming this autumn for all free Hotmail accounts:
• More E-Mail Storage -- Get a 250MB inbox -- FREE. That's over 125 times your current e-mail storage!"
