1. Half or whole?
I have one whole brother, and a half brother and a half sister. They are all younger. I only grew up with the whole brother.

My child is an only child and she loves it.

3. I was one of six
My sister is gone now (died at 31 of cancer). Two are steps whom I love as much as I could any blood relative. They are two very wonderful people and I wish they lived closer!

But I basically grew up as an only child. My brothers are a lot older than me. They had all left time by the time I was 8.

27. I knew a woman who could say that
she was a late life "surprise." the youngest of 5 or 6 (I forget which) the next youngest was still so much older that the youngest had the 2d youngest as her 2d grade teacher.

9. One little sister...
I love her absolutely. Even though we're 180 degrees apart politically and live 1000 miles away from each other...Sometimes distance makes love grow!

10. I have 6 sisters.
I have 6 sisters. That made life interesting growing up in a house with 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. A family of 7 girls. I've never met anyone else who has 6 sisters and no brothers.

My mother has four daughters from 3 different men. I know that sounds bad. My whole sister just turned 25. The daughter from her second marriage just turned 14. Her daughter from her current marriage is 3. My father's son with his current wife is 13. I am 26.
