1. That certainly *IS* a problem
that's about the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. You should upgrade to Gin & Clamato.

5. I declare Fatwa upon the makers of Goldschlager!
It used to be 107 proof, but those bastards made it 87 proof. Not only does this make it weaker, but in the process it has become sludgier and not as good to drink. This angers me and I call for them to be pelted with empty beer bottles until they either die or promise to restore the integrity and goodness of Goldschlager. Let the faithful carry out this noble task!

7. Ewww. You DO have a problem.
You have a lack of taste.

Either is bad enough on their own, but at least respect them and keep them apart. Goldschlager really shouldn't be mixed, certainly not with Dr. Pepper. It's best as shots, and cold ones at that. Remember when Goldschlager first came out, they came with their own wire frame designed for pouring the stuff? The bottle sat in the frame horizontally (actually, at a bit of an angle, so the spout was up and the stuff wouldn't leak out), so you could keep it in the fridge, and when you wanted a shot, you could just push down the neck and pour a glass. When you let up your pressure, the bottle returned to it's somewhat upright position. I haven't seen one of those frames in quite a while.

Sometimes I miss the days of cinnamon and wintergreen schnapps.

As for me, I just finished a martini.

11. Well, it's not my bag, baby, but whatever works for you!

Personally I like the taste of Goldschlager, so I wouldn't want a chaser.

But have it!

(and I have to admit, I used to be a big fan of Sloe Gin and Diet Mountain Dew. haven't had it in a long time, so don't know if I'd still like it, but somehow, gross as it sounds, it kind of worked for me) (p.s. I mixed the Sloe Gin and the Diet Mountain Dew as a mixed drink, over ice, and did not drink them separately as you do)

15. I don't know if it had a name
I'm the only peson I've ever known who did the Sloe Gin/Diet Mountain Dew combo. I've certianly never heard of bars serving it. Not that that means they don't, just that I never came across it.

It's something I came up for myself one night when at home and my options were limited by what I had on hand.

12. Welcome to DU getoffmytrain!
:hi:

I hope you didn't use "margarita mix", and made them from scratch! Preferably without the use of a blender at all, served straight up in a cocktail glass like God intended.

But if you made froxen blended ones, what the hell. As long as you enjoyed them!
