3. 6' 5", and that's enough for me.
Not good for missing low-hanging door jambs, or for trying to buy clothes off the rack, or for having leg-room in midsize cars.

But good in crowds (can see over most people), or for reaching top shelves, or for looking at the tops of people's heads (not a lot of call for that last one, though).

:kick:

39. Yeah, but you'll love it
as you get older. It's easier to carry a little bit of weight when the metabolism starts to slow, and clothes, when you can get them to fit, look better IMO. I'm 32 and 5'9. I hated being tall growing up, but I really like it now.

45. I'm 23 now and it's gotten better
Growing up, I had my growth spurs way before the other kids did and used to get tortured for it. My metabolism is about the same though so I still look like a pencil. :( My main problem when clothes shopping is pants: I end up with high waters (er, sorry, "capris") that fit around the waist, or if they're long enough they're so baggy even a rapper wouldn't wear them. Old Navy jeans seem to be the only kind that fit me properly.

On the bright side, my boyfriend is an inch or two shorter than me, and he's the first guy I've dated that was shorter than me and likes it that way. He's all like, "I love my Amazon queen!" :D

I'm leggy, which makes shopping for pants difficult. I loved Limited jeans, but the store near me doesn't carry them anymore.

36. A tall one, 6'5"
And I'm the second shortest male in my family. I have cousins who are 7' plus. My grandmother was over 6', worked as a butcher and was handy with the meat cleaver.

Most of the time it's OK, but buying clothes sucks. Very little off the rack for me.
