What WAS the greatest and best song in the world?

Remember - Jables and Kyle did not play the greatest song in the world, it was just a tribute.

:)

12. There IS a link but I can't find it at the moment...
I first heard it in Kerry's major Iraq policy speech last Monday. I thought it was a very crystallized thought, suitable for meme-ing.

14. Ask the experts
Matthew Fisher was the organist in Procol Harum, and wrote the organ line in "Whiter Shade of Pale" (often inaccurately credited to Bach).

Here's what he says on his web page regarding The Greatest Single Ever Recorded:

"Some say A Whiter Shade of Pale, others say Stairway to Heaven. Both answers are wrong. The correct answer is, of course, Good Golly Miss Molly by Little Richard."

19. Right this moment
the greatest song in the world is Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks."

Yesterday afternoon it was Violent Femmes' "I Held Her In My Arms."

I have Einsturzende Neubauten's "The Garden" penciled in for later.
