No, I'M hopeless! ("Hey! Free kitten!")
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 02:57 PM by AlienGirl
Yesterday, at college, I was walking to register for the carpool I'm in, and this beautiful little cat ran across my path. Naturally I stopped to pet her. When I noticed she had ticks and I could feel all her bones, I took her into the office and asked if anyone knew whose cat this was. They said no, that she'd been hanging around for a few weeks and they were surprised I had been able to get that close to her. They suggested I take her home with me.

So, here's a pic of this beautiful, still-unnamed calico-and-white kitten. I think she's about eight months old. I am hoping my co-worker will want to adopt her, because the last thing I need right now is more vet bills. The photo quality sucks because of low light, but you get the idea.

*sigh*

2. Aw she is cute.
I used to say the same thing, re vet bills. We only had one cat who was mostly outdoors. Now I have 5 cats not including her (she has since died) and one dog. I am a sucker for helpless animals that need a home. I hope you can find a good home for the kitty and I am glad you helped her out. I suspect she came to you because she can sense you are an animal lover. Animals can sense that in people.

6. A stray cat adopted always brings good luck!
whether you keep her or not, you still get to keep the luck!

I hope you can manage. Pets are so good for the soul.
