Fun Exchange at Work Today

MY BOSS ON TANGENT: Hey, you know on those income tax forms, you have the right to send a check for any amount more than you owe that you want. So if you people (I assume that means Democrats) have such a problem with not paying enough taxes, you can always pay more. What do you think of THAT?

ME: It's not so much that I don't pay enough taxes, as it is that you don't.

However do you tolerate that on a daily basis? Or are they not always so assholey?

Actually, usually worse. Apparently, without my knowledge, John Kerry, Al Gore, Howard Dean and Bill Clinton all made me their spokesman. My boss is constantly mocking flip-flopping, Al "Bore", the "Scream", and skirt-chasing and I can either consent through silence or defend Democrats. Guess which one I usually pick (hint: I'm not shy about making monkeys cry for their mommy).

My boss tries to do this, but I can out-argue him. Plus he's not a complete idiot, only tends to believe what's on TV.

I just went 'round with my boss, coincidentally. About the debates tonight... had to set him straight on how to jump start the economy... love hearing him say, 'That's true.'
