bmbmd - awesome to hear a doctor on these forums! i'm going to mercer down in georgia (where i'm from). it's an aesome school with a kickass curriculum and everything...i really really look forward to starting there next august. i got in early decision, that's why i found out so early for next year! i want to either go into general surgery and go around the planet to fix people(doc's without borders or something) or some more specialized surgery. i'm also looking at raditology(i have an engineering background!) radiation oncologY(i work at a cancer treatment center in boston right now! god bless cancer victims...) and neurosurgery(Worked in a neurosurgery lab in atlanta for a while...lovely profession!)

but i guess i won't know for sure until later...

what do you do? do you have any advice? i'm thinking at the moment that with the 10 months i have before starting school that i'll just try everything i've ever wanted to do , sculpture, guitar, bartending, coinstruction work, etc etc etc and just grow as a person and not even touch biology until school starts! i'm so excited i can't think straight so i can't say for sure...

all those diseases!! watch out! here i come!!!

that i get to go to school in august 2006! people usually find out early in 2006 but i get to party extra hard now that i already know!

We have a TV in our department but they're switching back between the Yankees game and the UConn football game. I work in sports at a newspaper here in Connecticut.
