I can't remember a more boring or idiotic opening. The portrayal of Kerry reinforced Rove's lies and that pisses me off. Good comedy has a basis in reality. The Kerry portion of the skit was bad comedy.

from the studio. It's really cool to actually be there (this was my 3rd time), as you can see during the breaks them changing the sets around.

Darrell Hammond did the "warm-up" before the show...and he actually told us NOT to applaud when "Jim Leher" came on. :P The opening skit really wasn't funny at all, just because of the whole flip-flopper thing. It would be funny if he actually DID do that; but it's just a RW lie.

Talked to the cast after the show...Amy said she was really nervous doing Weekend Update. I think she'll get used to it...just give it time.
