1. My Kerry sign was taken, too, but...

around the corner, there was a line of signs for bush, as well as local and state candidates. Someone stole the chimpy sign, but left all the others. (It wasn't me, by the way. I would have defaced/stolen all of them.)

4. Report it to the cops

I did, and I asked the detective if they wanted these thefts reported, despite the fact that the dollar value is minimal (I had eight bucks worth of signs stolen), and he said, "YES!!! Please report it. Otherwise we'll have no clue that there's a problem."

I asked him how long it would take for the forensic team to get here with the fingerprint kit and the tracking dogs, and he suggested I not sit in my lawn chair waiting for the team to show up... :D

hundreds of Kerry signs were stolen. It turned out that restless teenagers with not much to do decided to steal them. Stupid!

I have had one stolen too and if the next one is gone, then I will put that up. I live on the main drag in my subdivision and will piss alot of people off. Cheney them!
