I usually only last for 90 seconds tops, but I could NOT not listen today. Tuned in for the 20-minute rides both to and from the house.

He was on a non-stop rant about how "you cannot let them spin this debate into a do-or-die performance for the President."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

How's THAT for confidence? It's like presupposing he's going to suck.

He then reads BushQuotes (c) from the first debate in his best stentorian tones, then says: "See? Forceful and direct!" (Except of course that when Bush delivered the lines he sounded like Barney Fife's less masculine and stupider brother.)

Also: Rush is heavy on the effeminate lisping, for whatever reason (to be an offensive prick comes to mind). Went into that voice even when the subject matter did not indicate it (like when he was talking in the voice of undecided voters).

I'm pulling for an embolism, myself.

But then I'm too young to really remember Carson.

10. Bush losing would be the best thing that could personally happen
for Rush, right? Bush pardons him right before he leaves office in January, 2005. All the legal problems just magically vanish, in just a few short months.

If Bush gets re-installed, Rush may be looking at trial, conviction, and yes, even prison, before 2008.
