Gilligan's Island was highly improbable!
Damn all your empirical evidence! I contend it was a farce!

I say good day to you!

1. Yeah, what's up with that professor? He can make a nuclear bomb out
of a cocoanut but can't fix a 2 foot hole in the side of a boat.

3. They would've lynched Mary Ann for all those coconut cream pies.
Every episode...coconut cream pies. They'd get so sick of it, and of her, she'd be sacrificed to the volcano in episode 4.

No way all those DUMB people could last on that island. Every guest star got off in half an hour, but they stayed.:eyes:

8. Please...the Howells taking their ENTIRE wardrobes?
And Thurston Howell seemed to have take several thousands of dollars in cash as well. Plus, Lovey had her jewels with her...

Just for a THREE HOUR cruise??

Gilligan's Island was a farce on the first order!

And I say good day to YOU, sir!! :-)

12. Au contraire!!
It is well known that the uber-rich (with psychosis) take everything with them because they cannot trust anyone with their possessions!

Therefore: REAL!!!

13. They took all their stuff with them because
. . . (thinking cap on) . . . at the end of the three-hour tour of the Hawaiian islands, they were going to disembark on a different island to continue their vacation.

14. More Fundamental Than That
The Howell's took a three hour tour on that little boat with plebes like The Professor and Maryann? I don't think so. They would not have lowered themselves to take a pleasure cruise on that little tub. More likely, they already owned a boat bigger than the Minnow.
