2. "W Stands for WOMEN"
Had plenty of those floating around campus when we hosted the second debate. If you listen really closely during Hardball, you may be able to hear a friend of mine screaming "'W Stands for WOMEN'?? BULLSHIT!!"

9. I've got to give it to the Frank Luntz focus group-tested...
...."It's better to fight the terrorists in Baghdad than to fight them in New York and Washington." What a stupid, dangerous, and disingenuous claim to make. Did Timothy McVeigh set his bomb off through Baghdad? Were the 19 September 11th hijackers living in Baghdad when they set the attacks in motion?

Terrorists are not going to conveniently assemble where the military can target them. We've long known that it's far messier than that. I live daily with the thought that someone might attack a passing chemical tanker or sabotage the subway.

And the GOP has dutifully recited the above talking point. I've heard it repeatedly from all the usual suspects. Very, very dangerous, and very misleading to the American people.

And meanwhile the coffins are unloaded at Dover Air Base...
