Mint was officially adopted yesterday by a young couple. They have another greyhound (also adopted) and wanted a companion for him.
With some tears we said goodbye to Mint and sent her off with a "GOING HOME" present of a coat, toy and a bag of food. We'll miss her, and the new family is mighty lucky to get such a sweetie.
We will probably be taking in another foster greyhound after Thanksgiving -- our schedule from now til then is pretty full.
Mint and the lovely humans who adopted her, and you for the love and caring you give to all the Goddess's children. My own nine cats are all rescues, and each morning when I wake to their purrs and snuggling I know how blessed I am. Nothing is more powerful than enacting love in the world.
My Grey is the best thing that ever happened to me...a sweet 7 yo female. She ran until she was almost 5, then had an oops litter, now she's the keeper of the couches.
I don't think I'd be a very good foster pet parent; I get attached too easily and could never let them go. Sounds like a very lucky doggie all around. :hi:
