my next door neighbor died...

I just found out this morning right after I came back from voting. His girlfriend came over and told me that he had a massive heart attack Friday night. They were over at friends and he was talking about the weekend football games with his buddy and just started throwing up and fell to the ground and died. He was only 32.

We barely got to know him, but he seemed very conscientious and nice; somebody we were looking forward to getting to know as a neighbor; you know it's rare to have really good neighbors. They had only been here a few months. We're in shock. But we're so upset for her. She told me it's hitting her in waves, the realization comes and goes.

This has been really upsetting.

Many prayers for them.

Our neighbor died suddenly two weeks ago, liver cancer. She thought she had the flu. Shocking. This is the OTHER neighbor, not the apathetic one. Unfortunately (?!) she didn't get to vote...for George Bush.

So weird, these people are loaded, boats, gorgeous home, the suburban, the diamonds, things, things, things ,things, the cruises, you name it, they have it.

So it doesn't matter, all these things all these material things, it's how you live on a daily basis.

Anyway, sorry about your neighbor.

5. Unbelievable!

You think about rock stars and the kind of life they lead--I mean, Keith Richards is still alive and kicking, and then you think about a 32 year old person who's lived the average lifestyle having a massive coronary. It's hard to fathom. I'm so sorry. :(

7. He was overweight and had high cholesterol...

And had had a mild heart attack a couple of years ago. That's what his buddy told us tonight.

He was just getting into a new job here and I don't think he had insurance yet.

So freaking sad.

our neighbor died in his arms basically. They were sitting around talking about the upcoming football games when it happened.

He was an organ donor they said, and his organs have been taken and he's already been cremated.

We're just a little stunned today. They all are in shock.
