Destined to be a classic, if it isn't one already:

4. Been awhile, wish I could quote it...
That scene where he gets his ass beaten and thrown out of the garage...the camera doesn't even move, he gets up, goes back in, gunfire gunfire gunfire... that lone survivor stumbles out and he comes walking straight up to the camera and says something bad ass....damn, that's killer filmmaking. Quite possibly one of the coolest scenes ever filmed.

6. "You...you tell him...tell him I'm coming!"
"Tell him I'm FUCKING COMING!!!"

Y'know - that doesn't sound quite as badass out of context. :silly:

8. YES! YES, that's IT!
You need to have flecks of blood on your face when you say it, though. That pretty makes saying anything badass.

9. Nicky Katt is friggin' great in it, too.
Scary, but funny.

That Einstein joke he improvised in the park is worth the price of the DVD.

11. The joke:
"What's the smartest thing to come out of a woman's mouth?"

"Einstein's cock."

:D

I did just watch it again the other night -- but I know it by heart. Maybe my favorite Soderbergh movie.

7. This often-overlooked Soderbergh movie is a gem
A very clever thriller, with stylish dialog and situations, and a career performance by Terence Stamp. Will keep you guessing until the end.

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert being the first example.

16. And he's playing Stick in the upcoming ELEKTRA movie
Reason to rejoice, if you're a comic book fan -- even if the movie ends up sucking.

18. Get it.
Two commentaries - one with the actors, and one with Soderbergh & the writer, who actually get in a spirited argument about how he directed the script.

Good stuff.

19. I've never seen it uninterupted...
But from what I have seen, I'm not that impressed.

I'll wait to make my final judgment until I've had a chance to view it all the way through when I'm in the mood for it.

I hope that I'm 'OK' with you, until then. ;)

20. It would be confusing, not seen through to the end.
Great ending, great use of footage from one of Stamp's early movies, and demands repeated viewings.
