Kangaroo, Goat Found Wandering In Florida Back Yard

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- They are the definition of an "odd couple."

A goat and a kangaroo were found --not down under -- but on the Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Tuesday.

It was a typical Saturday afternoon. Emerson Vittone was walking by his pool.

He said he "looked over in the yard and said, 'What is that?'"

Vittone saw what he thought was a ram, when actually, it was a goat with big horns. Then, Vittone saw something much stranger.

"I see this 'boing, boing boing,' and I said, 'What the hell is that?'" Vittone said. "I haven't had a drink in a long time. That's a kangaroo!"

Indeed, it was a marsupial meandering through the back yard.

It had scared the dickens out of the neighbors, scratching one woman and denting her car.
