Besides, you didn't say the context!

Is the one answering the poll an XX or XY?

Or the one's significant other/partner/one night stand/F buddy an XX or XY?

Or which group of letters is our favorite?

18. Klinefelters Syndrome
They are genetically XXY but phenotypically male. These men sometimes have breasts and abnormally high levels of estrogen.

27. There are also women with xy genes.
Speaking strictly genetically, they are male, but because of an inherited condition, their body doesn't process testosterone correctly, so none of the male characteristics develop. You would not know by appearance alone that they have this condition, and many never find out until they try to have children. Sometimes their doctors don't tell them about the xy gene problem contributing to their infertility because it can be devastating. I've simplified it a great deal; I'm sure it is more complicated and detailed then that, but I'm remembering an article from Discover.

that we're not really superior after all.

Nothing medical about it.

Edit: They're right. We can't even spell 'superior'.

24. Once thought I was XO
I stopped growing when I was 14 and didnt go through puberty. My bone age at that time was 11. They did a karyotype test on me for Turners syndrome (only one X chromosome and nothing else) but i turned out to be XX. I finally went through puberty at 16 and the docs said i had a "constitutional delay"
