I've just Discovered something about finding Avatars

The Size of the Avatars that are used on DU are hard to find,if you search for 'Avatar' you get large sized photos and you can't get smaller unless you look far back into the search 1_2_3_4_..try number _12_13_14 till i could find some small sized avatars after messing the word 'Avatar' like 'Forum Avatar'..

But i found some good websites..

Well anyways..what I've discovered is that Avatars that is the size That DU uses..are not called Avatars even half of the time...they are Called: Buddy Icons

1. Make your own avatar

Mine is a "found" one that I reduced in size to fit the standards necessary for the forum. You can use any photo if you can reduce it small enough (I use PhotoShop). Some lose their clarity so it helps to keep the image simple.
