I changed my name because everyone thought of the ninety-year-old master chef when they saw it.

My new name comes from my scottie, who was killed in my driveway a couple of months after I joined DU. It's kind of a way to memorialize her. :-)

3. Well, yeah, everyone would think of Julia Child....
But honestly that isn't a bad thing. Ms. Child was a HUGE Democratic Supporter. Not only that, she is like a goddess to many foodies. I also loved watching her..."you put the Cognac in the pan and then drink the rest of the bottle" The recipe usually called for about 2-3 tablespoons of Cognac, Julia would get so hammered. She was a treat.

4. StoptheMorans
used to be stoptheinsandity. never really liked the handle, and had errantly added a "d" to "stoptheinsanity" when I registered. i like this handle better; it's more appropriate for the moran-filled society in which we live:)

5. nemdaille - changed to Cerridwen - my new name is one I've
used (when not beat to the punch) for years on the internet. I think it sounds friendlier and it also lets some people who know about these things, know that I have a decidedly Pagan leaning bent.

Only a minor change. I just wanted to take advantage of the opportunity while it was available. I figured the capitol letters gave it a little more oomph.

7. Liked my old name
But I use my current handle for a few other things so it's easier for me to remember. I'm a newbie anyways so no one knows me here.

9. I'm just a singer in a rock 'n' roll band
I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth
Meeting so many people
Who are trying to be free
And while I'm traveling I hear so many words

Language barriers broken
Now we've found the key
And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.

A thousand pictures can be drawn from one word
Only who is the artist
We got to agree
A thousand miles can lead so many ways

Just to know who is driving
What a help it would be
So if you want this world of yours
To turn about you
And you can see exactly what to do
Please tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.

How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth.

I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth
Meeting so many people
Who are trying to be free
And while I'm traveling I hear so many words

Language barriers broken
Now we've found the key
And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.

How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth.

Music is the traveller crossing our world
Meeting so many people bridging the seas
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
We're just the singers in a rock and roll band.
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band...
