Wrong comparison

A Nov. 22 letter writer compared the snobbish heiresses on "The Simple Life" to Democrats.

But let's take a closer look at who in politics they resemble: Paris Hilton was given large amounts of money by her parents and owes all her success to her family name. Because of her wealth, she is forgiven for making numerous verbal gaffes.

Sound familiar?
