Houseplant Experts...Advice, Please
A psychotic secretary threw this plant in the trash nearly ten years ago, and I rescued it. This plant has seen nothing but fluorescent lights in all that time, but appears to be doing well. I've taken cuttings from it a couple of times to start new plants at home. My question: is there anything else I should be doing to ensure the health of this plant?

2. Nice Philodendron!
I see new growth coming on at the end of the "vine", so it seems tro be pretty happy.

Wouldn't hurt to give it a little Miracle-Grow once in a while.

3. I have a plant just like it in my office.
Last year I started giving it my left over green tea instead of water & it has been growing like crazy ever since.

4. Great plants !
About the only thing I can grow. :D Do well in low or artificial light and easy to start new plants from cuttings. Only other thing I do is add a little plant food every month or so.

5. Cui it back and root the cuttings and plant them together in the----
pot----The pot is way too large and the plant is too leggy, but very healthy looking. Cutting back creates a thicker plant.

They are great plants. Good luck!

6. Thanks for the Hints
I've given it Miracle-Gro sporadically (hence my moniker). I'll try the green tea thing too :-)

7. Definitely trim it back periodically.
Root the cuttings to share or plant them back in the pot.

I have three of these in my house, all from the same "mother plant"

Similar plants in terms of care and light conditions:
other varities of Pothos (which is what this is, not philodendron)

True philodendron (many varieties)

Arrowhead plant.

By the way, this stuff is roadside ground cover in South Florida, sort of the Kudzu of the area.

9. I Like Having it Near My Desk
A bit of nature in an otherwise 'sterile' environment.
