WHY WON'T MY BOSS LEAVE ALREADY?!?!?!?!?

On most Fridays, he outta here by 3:00 PM at the latest. Yet here it is, last day before a four-day weekend, and he's STILL HERE-- and looks like he's staying for at least another half hour!

You'd think he all of a sudden wanted to do his job for a change :grr:

Mine works late all the time. He's out of the office now, but I've worked here for four years, so I know he'll be calling me at 5:00 or 5:30 just to make sure I'm still here.

5. I used to work for one like that

Serious workaholic. He spent 80 hrs a week at the office whether he needed to or not. In fact, the more time he spent there, the less he actually got done.

He'd be in before 7:00 M-F, and would rarely leave before 7:00 PM. And then, just to be safe, he'd drop in on Saturday for another 6-8 hours, "just to be safe". :eyes:

Of course it didn't stop the company from dropping like a stone.

Now the boss is shooting the crap w/ an overpaid 'consultant', who does half of what I do but makes twice as much. Not even work-related. Dammit, I hate my job :grr:

My boss actually works. He's also confessed to me that he doesn't like going home to his wife and kids, so I guess that's extra motivation to spend most of his time here.
