when my husband worked for a municipality, he would do that, too. My hat's off to you for your thoughtfulness.

I've been snowed in for two days. If I can get out, I guess I work. I don't mind, though, because I don't celebrate Christmas.

7. I worked almost every Xmas
for 31 years, but it was nice because we got Double Time and a Half. And we were usually drunk to boot!

We've had several calls - all from men - asking us what our hours are tomorrow. Too bad we're almost out of holiday giftwrap. They'll have to settle for the generic, non-holiday paper tomorrow, I suppose. :D

13. yep, but I get Saturday and Sunday off!
but I work from my home office, so I will just be doing email and taking any calls that come in, and catching up on paperwork. Looking forward to it actually.

16. Yup. I work in a church office, and have to do the Christmas bulletins.
It's one of the two busiest times of year there. But I have Monday off next week, as well as Friday for New Year's.

I have to work 5:30am-3:30 pm. Probably cut out early though, nobody cares If I stay the whole shift since I'll be the only one here. Off Xmas day, heading to my brother's place at Grand Lake for a big feed. :)
