After seven years, I'm about to replace my Frankenmachine. And I can't wait! This damned thing been upgraded so many times, of the computer I bought in 1998, the only original part remaining is the keyboard! :crazy:

4. I'm just about finished with my new machine

Well, once I get all the parts that is. Then I can put it all together and pray it starts ;) Still waiting on motherboard (should be here tuesday) and video card (hopefully will ship next week).

-NEC 16x DL DVD burner
-AMD Athlon64 3500+ 90nm
-Zalman 7000B-Cu cooler
-Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT PCI-Express (and I'll get the second one later this year when they are more available and people stop inflating the price)

So it should be nice. The machine I have is still decent, but I want to move up to Doom3 and HL2 (both of which I have but can't play very well).
