I was reading about a tiger who killed a zookeeper a few years back

and I'm in the middle of the description of how the tiger attacked and killed the poor man, when my CAT jumps up on the table I am reading at, scaring me out of my skin, and then she just hunches down and STARES at me with her slitty green eyes.

She's evil, I'm telling ya. It's like she KNEW what I was reading about and just wanted to remind me "Hey, I'm RELATED."

Damn cat.

5. She has me well-trained in that regard.

She finds me, meows loudly at me, and when I start to follow her, she walks toward the kitchen, stopping and turning to me to meow again every few feet until she is sure I made it to her bowl. It's quite hilarious. If she had arms, she'd grab my sleeve and drag me there.

8. All three of us are allergic to cats and here we are with a cat

(we didn't know we were all allergic until a couple of years ago). So we all take our meds and she's almost 9 years old, so when she goes, no more kitties for us :-(

I know she's done something REALLY bad when my husband comes in the room with his angry face on saying "HOW LONG DO CATS LIVE???"
