My weekend: I have pneumonia. And my favourite local band got signed.

Yes, it seems that in these, the early days of college, I have been sticken with a case of walking pneumonia which has knocked me almost completely on my ass. For about two days, sitting up for about a half hour completely drained me of all my energy (which, in retrospect, was kind of neat, in a way). Now I am back in my college dorm, wearing a t-shirt, a collared shirt, and a sweater underneath a coat, and I'm finally kind of warm. I have class in a half hour, too, plus a paper to do. Being sick makes it hella hard to do homework. So now, I'm taking some Zithromax, courtesy of the Pfizer corporation (whom I hate, because I live in the town where they are giving everyone they possibly can the shaft).

But the other day, I found out that my favourite local rock band got signed. Kiss Me Quick is now on a Detroit independent label called Down Peninsula Audio. That is awesome.
