Did you see the new Apprentice last night?
I liked that guy, Danny, that they were saying was a poor dresser. I was thinking he was a breath of fresh air from all of the stuffy types they normally have.
I'm rooting for street smarts.

1. The whole show is a fake. Even the sets are. That louse Trump will also
have Danny boy tinned like a sardine in no time.

2. Yes, yes I did see it.
And I too liked Danny, although I do not think he is the robot that tends to work for people like Trump. I am rooting for the edu-macated folks.

3. Why are you rooting for street smarts?
Danny is part of the educated team. Seems like since W's been in office, educated people are seen in a suspicious light. Frankly, I'm sick of it.

8. Hmmm. Sounds like you've maybe had some
personal experience with that? :(

I'm rooting for street smarts, but I'm not *against* the educated group. I guess my reason is a year and a half before graduating college (which I worked three jobs to put myself through) my mom was paralyzed in a car accident, and I had to quit.
I got a job doing unix engineering, with no experience, for a fortune 500 company. I taught myself unix and the job, moved up to a senior level position and was working on the same level with the college grads. They always held their education over me, even when I was doing twice the amount of work they were. Luckily management *did* recognize my abilities so it didn't interfere financially.

Oh, and I always root for the underdog.

4. i just wanna be behind him the next time he has limo trouble!
:D
not sure who i'm rooting for yet, but i love that they are veering away from the male vs. female bs and going a new route.

i did think it was pretty funny that the HS grads were making 3x what the college grads were. i guess they did have a big head start though ;)

5. Oh no doubt, I would gladly change all of the tires
on the limo. That was a cool story. If I was a millionaire, I'd do things like that. :D

I was shocked that they are making 3x more. Amazing what perservance and hard work can get you. I liked how they all were like, yeah, we've had to work jobs like this (Burger King) before, so they weren't afraid to roll their sleeves up.

6. yeah, wouldn't it be cool to do that for people?
how neat that he went to that extent instead of just handing them a little cash or something.

and i agree about the HS grads - it was also interesting that the college grads and hs grads all had about the same high IQs, they just took different paths. i'm intrigued to see who ends up in the final 4 this time.

10. I'd be doing it all the time, until I was broke. Because I love
that feeling of making someone, who has struggled and worked hard, dreams come true.

Sometimes I think Trump exaggerates about the I.Q. thing. Last season he kept saying they all had over 200 I.Q.'s and I don't think that was right....or possible for that matter. Genius is like 140 or 150 isn't it. How do you get 50 points above genius without spending your time inventing something like the theory of relativity instead of going on reality t.v.?

I hope some of the more lively personalities make it to the end this time. :D

11. Genius is more like 165-180
Supposedly, Einstein was at about 200, and there's one or two of them a century.

20. I'm pretty sure it's 140
I used to have a membership to Mensa..... long story..started with something "amazing" I did as a kid, but I'm not gonna share my score. I don't believe in I.Q. as something quantifiable, I believe people can have emotional genius, artistic genius etc. I think the score, even though mine was good, is limiting.

Besides... I don't want to go there because then people will expect me to live up to my potential.... and I have a feeling. That living up to my potential. Would REALLY cut into my sittin around time. :D

25. What did you do that was "amazing"?
I also have a high IQ, but it doesn't necessarily mean a damn thing. Just means that you can retain and memorize information well. Maybe have the ability to figure things out easier than others.
And your right there are all types of genius, they just don't have measurements for them

27. Oh it's silly. I put "amazing" in quotes because that's
what the adults were saying at the time, but I never thought it was any big deal. I scored 100% on those SRA tests they give you at the end of the year...four years in a row. Then I scored in the top 1% of these additional tests they were giving me to try to determine my I.Q. and if I should be skipping grades, etc. There was a lot involved with it - long story.
But I was being abused at home and all of the attention made the abuse worse. So I purposely started doing poorly to try to make it stop and to blend into the shadows. It worked.

15. did he say that?
200 is like off the charts, i must've missed it. i'm sure they take all kinds of tests including an IQ one ... who knows if it's one they can fudge though becuause i agree, some of the ones he keeps saying are so intelligent seem just the opposite, lol!

i hope we get some cool ones at the end too! and it was fun seeing the underdogs win last night :) Todd deserved to get the boot, imo. he was such a dolt, how about you get your lame butt behind the counter and work instead of wandering around like a deer in the headlights?

"school smarts" team. The other team, Net Worth, got to have dinner with Trump and Melania as their reward.

Trump didn't like the way he dressed...that's it! Unless he comes back with a new suit and totally redeems himself! Oh and he has to stop playing guitar at tasks, and make up his mind when he's doing projects, and stop being flaky..... ahhh forget it.. he's a goner.
