3. Any time the numbers get that high, you can bank on the true answer being
the weathermen have no freaking clue as to what'll happen, and you're just as likely to get a dusting.

Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 10:48 PM by Cush
about 5 years ago we were supposed to get like 2 feet here in the DC area, they pretty much said it was a given. Oops, turns out the storm formed too far off the coast and missed us

6. They're saying 12-24 " for the Boston area.
If that happens, there go my plans for the weekend. :-(

But looking at the "good" side, at least I don't have to go to work in it. :-)

10. Everyone will be buying bread and milk
I think a blizzard sets off some inner desire for Bread Pudding. People who haven't bought milk for 5 years buy a gallon when snow is forecasted.

11. If there is any left.
I was at the store today (for work) and it was mobbed as it usually is before a storm. Funny thing is, I bought buns this time and not regular bread, even though there was plenty there. Wanted something different to roast over the fire when the power goes out! LOL

23. Yeah, we must fight the soft bigotry of Mother Nature!
Why should we Northeasters be greedy with the snow and the cold. We should search out the islands of weather tyrany and cast it out (into the red states) and give liberty and freedom to our repressed summer spirit!

"In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." --- Albert Camus
