An ex of mine and I nearly wore that CD out. Heh.

Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance & The Changelings are also favorites. I never got the whole Barry White mystique--darkwave/ethereal stuff is far better "mood music" to me, but I'm weird like that I guess.

Barry White just cracks me the hell up. Kinda like that time Willow tried to seduce Oz by playing some Barry White and they both kinda just started laughing.

I don't get the whole Barry White/Al Green/etc thing, either. But then, I'm pretty damned weird myself. Hehe. I'd rather put on something liek the albums mentioned above, Depeche Mode, Recoil, Orbital ("Halcyon On And On" on repeat works quite well, too)...
