So, who else here had a blizzard yesterday???
Here in the Frostbite Belt (aka the Red River Valley), we had almost a foot of that shit, but the blowing snow was really the pain in the ass. It pissed me off that I had to do some errands after the blizzard was over, and almost none of the streets were plowed, so I was forced to burn my tires through about a foot of unplowed snow.

1. Not as bad
but 10in of snow last night. Some mild to moderate blowing in south central MN. Nothing like RRV standards. I expect Grand Forks to put a tiny bit of sand down by Tuesday afternoon. Forget about salt up there.

3. They don't use salt here in Fargo.
And it pisses me off too, because there's still a thick coating of ice on all the roads underneath all that snow.

4. Still better than GFK
at least from my experience. The Fargo roads were much better than the Grand Forks roads. I guess somebody needs to tell the ND DOT about the substance.

I could tell the difference when I drove over to East Grand Forks. I am sure you can tell the same going to Moorhead.

7. Yeah, at least they use snow sweepers here.

I notice that thing about Moorhead too.

But the thing that pisses me off the most is that the very last part of the city to get plowed is my campus. It's 3pm, 18 hours since the end of the blizzard, and there's still plows working on the campus streets.

5. No blizzard here in St Louis but it sure
is windy and cold (19 when I last checked)

It snowed a bit this morning but it didn't stick.
