The Lifetime Version of the Lion King
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 07:54 PM by jiacinto
The following is simply a parody and is not meant to offend anyone.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lifetime presents a new Lifetime original movie:

The Lion King

Poor Simba grows up in an abusive family where his father Mufassa sexually absues and rapes his mother, the Lion Queen, Shanika. Shanika suffers humiliating abuse that stripes away her dignity while Simba watches in complete horror. He beats Simba ruthlessly in anger. Simba must run away from his abusive and violent father, who uses the power of the Throne to protect himself from law enforcement.

Running to the care of his uncle Scar, Simba falls into the wrong crowd. Scar exposes him to alcohol and drugs. Then, during one night of passion that Simba regrets with a Tiger, his one night stand becomes pregnant. And now the family must deal with teen pregnancy.

But it gets even worse. Shanika, overwhelmed by all the stress in her family, loses her mind. She chases Mufassa to the top of the cliff and pushes him down into a stampede. Although Mufassa lives barely he is now disabled and Shanika must take care of him in order to block Scar's ascenion to the throne

With the police on her tail she meets a zebra officer named Mubaka. And she finds herself caught between her family and the forebidden love or her striped friend.

Watch this Lifetime Original Movie as the network salutes the Lion King. This is a story of courage and perserverence against overwhelming odds as the Lion Queen stands as an example to women everywhere.

1. While I usually watch Lifetime...
there are times I call it "Deathtime" due to all the depressing stories of abuse and murder.
