Skinner - you rock
To those of us here in California - the arnold nightmare is NOT funny. I feel more depressed possibly than I've ever felt. First we loose our country to a thief in 2000 and now we're in danger of loosing our state. I am absolutely sick about this and am disgusted that millions of people's lives will be negatively impacted. The rest of the country has had a good time making fun of this circus. They think it's funny. Yea, I'm sure all of those women who were assalted, and yes, WHAT HE DID WAS criminal, think it was "playful." What the fuck has happened to our country?

1. Would it help if you could spread this Greg Palast column around ?
http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=283&row=0

It's the story of Arnold and Enron and what he will do if he is governor.

2. Not exactly sure what this has to do with Skinner
But I think he rocks, too.

I don't want to belittle your pain, Lindsey. There is no good face to put on this mess. I don't know if you're old enough to remember our governor, Ronald Seen-one-redwood-seen-them-all Reagan. But we did survive him. The only consolation I'm taking out of this fiasco is that Ah-nold is going to be stuck with Whistle Ass's economy. We'll get back on track when we can next elect a governor.

Hang in there, Lindsey.

4. Question
I assume CA has a 4 year Governor, like most states. This may sound like a dumbo question, but, will your next election be in 2006 or will a new Governor, if there is one, get a full 4 year term starting now?

5. if there's a new governor...
s/he will serve out the remaining term. We'll have a regularly scheduled election in 2006.

6. Well, not that its much comfort,
but at least if its Arnold, it will be only 3 years, rather than 4. Surely by 2006, people will be chomping at the bit to toss him outta there.

3. So What Else Is New/News?
The only thing I want to see is an address from the Mods and Admins.

UPS and FeEx has a problem if you direct a bottle of Dom Perigon '53 to Roni in NYC and/or to to the Admins and Mods if you can't provide an address....

I know because I tried....
