1. Norman Oklahoma's
New York Pizza is probably my favorite restaurant here. Cheap, fast, extraordinarily tasty :D They serve pasta entrees and subs as well, but I always go with the pizza.

22. Yeah, I heard or read about it, don't remember which...

Haven't been able to do "fine dining" much lately, like I could when Clinton was in....used to pick a good place once a month and a group of us girls would go, usually on a Saturaday, go to a museum, dinner and clubs. Last time I was at Heaven was for the Tapas Tuesday, tried a bit of everything, because there were 7 of us and each picked 3 dishes and passed them around...Yumm....Last place we got to go to was Moe's in Milwaukee...it was okay, wouldn't recommend because for the price it was not exceptional...I would recommend Mader's German Restaurant -- Downtown Milwaukee, loved it - good German Beer and reasonable prices...and valet parking...(valet's didn't sqeal that van smelled like pot either)Their brie w/raspberry sauce was out of this world!

Mader's (1037 N. Old World Third St., 414-271-3377)

One of the signature German restaurants in downtown Milwaukee, Mader's has been serving on Old World Third Street since 1902. Dress is casual, although you would not be out of place in formal attire.

Specialties at Mader's include the Bavarian sauerbraten (beef marinated in old world spices and wine vinegar for 10 days, topped off with ginger snap sauce, served with red cabbage and spaetzle, $24), Mader's Famous Tower Ring Pork Shank (favorite for 99 years, updated to a skinless shank with an apple demi-glaze served with sauerkraut and potatoes, $21), and their Wienerschnitzel (veal pounded flat, lightly breaded and sautéed, served with potato dumplings and mushroom cream sauce, $28). Mader's offers 217 imported beers, some of which are even German.

Mader's also has a gift shop upstairs and an art gallery featuring landscapes. Also, if you're looking for a stein, Mader's is a place you can buy one. Valet parking is also available.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sundays, Mader's offers a brunch at 10:30 a.m. and is open for dinner from noon-9 p.m.

12. When I lived in Cleveland
There was a place at Great Northern called Weia Teia. Asian fusion food. Some of the tastiest food I ever had. And if you go for lunch, you get the same entree's on the dinner menu, just a little smaller.

Now in Florida, Tarpon Springs area, we love Bally Hoo. Mussels Diablo for an appetizer, and lots of good seafood, and steaks!

24. Boy, that's a hard one coz I can't talk about just the town I live in....
because the whole Black Hills is one small town! In Rapid City, Botticelli's Ristorante has the best Italian food but the Chop House is reputed to have the best steaks & Hunan's I think has the best Chinese. The Fireside Inn is also supposed to have very good steaks & burgers. And the Corn Exchange has the best gourmet food around. Oh, I almost forgot the Firehouse. Good food and really good microbrewed beer, I usually just go for the beer  I don't think we have a good burger joint here right in town because Fuddruckers just doesn't really count..

I like the Road Kill Cafe in Sturgis for burgers. My favorite Chinese food is the Chinatown Cafe in Deadwood. There are also several good places to get steak there.

My favorite resturant anywhere in the Hills is The Alpine Inn in Hill City. You have no choice for the supper menu, except the size of the steak you order & how it's cooked, but the desserts are to DIE for. The tiramisu is absolutely heaven.

Every town here has at least one really good eating establishment.

Believe me I haven't talked about some of the other really good places within 30 minutes or so of my house.

ever. Guatemalan rotisserie style 1/4 chix served with huge steak fries and cole slaw. And that is ALL they serve. It's a production line in the manner of the soup Nazi. The spice is lime with cumin and something else they won't reveal because they say they don't speak english, but I know better. There are three of them, I think one is in Herndon VA and they've been written up countless times in the best cheap eats in the Washingtonian Magazine. The atmosphere is "dump" but who cares, the chicken is delicious, as the long lines 10/7 attest to.
