What did they find to complain about in this year's Super Bowl?
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 04:25 PM by norml
Early this morning I thought I heard some right-wingnut banana republican infomercial host blowing something out of his ass about The Black Eyed Peas shaking their booty too much. What have you heard them complaining about, in order to keep up the pressure of their displeasure?

1. I am outraged that the half time show was so boring
if they want to do clean and lame, why didn't they just do a prayer meeting?

3. Aaaaaugh! Don't give them any ideas!
I was afraid that it might soon be like the Simpsons episode:

"And now, for your halftime entertainment, Up With People!

Thank you, thank you, we want to commemorate the greatest hemisphere in the world, THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE!!! YAYYYY!" (on that last "Yayyyy", think Kermit the Frog thanking "our very special guest" at the end of "The Muppet Show").

2. that it was boring
The local paper, New Orleans Time-Picayune, is deeply embittered that the Superbowl was so dull and that Paul McCartney was apparently as good as dead on his feet as far as providing any entertainment value.

They even said most of the ads were boring.

I didn't watch myself, but that's what they say. Maybe in a bit I'll get the link.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

4. Randall Gay
I'm suprised they don't get fined for the commentary.

"Randall Gay is going deep"

:D

5. Hehe ... so immature ... so here's mine ...
About ten years ago the Steelers had a running back named "Butts"--I'm not sure how it was spelled, but that is how it was pronounced.

Anyway, the play by play man was calling the run and said "Butts with a big hole." I snarfed beer and chips that day. :)

Okay, so I am a tad immature at times, but I love a good Freudian slip.
