What's that stupid show with Paris Hiltnon? 'Simple Life'?

Is it a "reality show" where people allow this bimbo to screw up funeral arrangements, liposuction, and other things? :shrug:

How much is FOX spending for her? And why? Intentional dumbing down of their viewership?!

1. The Simple Life

How much is Fox spending on her? Millions, probably.
Why? Because she draws ratings, making them far more millions than they're shelling out.
Intentional dumbing down? Fox is dumb like a . . . fox. They usually go for the lowest common denominator (not just with this show), which is getting lower all the time, apparently. "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public," and all that.

Have you seen the show? It's actually kind of funny, and not flattering to Ms. Hilton. Is making fun of the idle rich such a bad thing?

3. I've not seen it, apart from the advert promos that make me want to

vomit. It's far more of a real abhorrence than those who say gay marriage is bad...

But those are the adverts. After all, if the movies Star Trek First Contact and Goldeneye could be promoted as being taut and gripping yet the actual movies being pathetic farcical shells of dead franchises, then the opposite can be true too: Something looking atrocious could actually be brilliant...

And I'll admit, I do like "Trading Spouses" though I have to thank Dave Chappelle for making a version that's truer to the name... :7
