No, really. My bf pointed out that in the futuristic movie it is mentioned that Arnold Schwartznegger is the governor of California.

Eerie isn't it?

p.s. it was a horrible movie

1. Actually, it mentioned that he'd been elected President in that movie
I think Orrin Hatch is working on a Constitutional Amendment to facilitate that possibility.

2. Not governor, but President

8. Yes, and Stallone pointed out that he was not born in the US
Sandra Bullock replied that "...his popularity was so great they passed the 61st Amendment to make an exception just for him."

3. I refute that..
Any movie with Sandra Bullock in an Black Leatherlike outfit with a gun is ruled, by the sheer nature of my testosterone, not horrible.

But, outside of that, it had few redeeming qualities, I'll admit.

(btw, in the future, according to the film, all restaurants are Taco Bells.)

4. Actually
I was just thinking of that movie. Arnie as President, not as Governor.

9. I can't remember who said it...
But I read YEARS and years ago, someone was writing about Arnold in passing and after his name put "the future governor of California" and I thought at the time "we'll see"....

and I've always remembered that quote. Maybe it was Howard Stern or something. I can't remember who said it.
