6. Ya think?
They've got a whole series of problems, and a brand-new owner. Who knows what they'll do next?

Hi back at ya, G! :hi:
(your dead relatives are pretty quiet. They're covered in snow.)

22. They are gonna shore up the D and still have the weapons on O
without the lockerroom distractions, what did they get, a good linebacker and the 7th overall pick in the draft? They were a coupla players away from having a better defense, whereas, the Packers, well,,,,,,,,,,Favre's sitting there thinking 'cant do it with the D we have now'

Watch out.

26. Not to mention questions about free agency.
On the unofficial list: Bubba Franks, Marco Rivera, Aaron Kampmann...
I'd hate to lose any of those guys!

On the bright side, Matt Hasselbeck is on the list, too. Do you think he'd like to come back and vie for Brett's job?

28. They tagged Franks a franchise player
if Favre comes back, Rivera will stay.....the salary cap will have to be tweaked though......

But still, our defense is the problem.

29. Well, thank God for Bubba.
He's one of my nephew's favorites, and I think he'd be crushed if Bubba left the team.

Of course the defense is the problem. Seems like it always has been. How on earth did we let Vonnie Holliday get away?!?

And don't even get me started on McKenzie. :puke:
Although I LMAO when I saw a McKenzie bobblehead at Shopko marked 50% off. No takers!

10. FYI - many Vikings fans are also rejoicing
We can get a whole lotta defense outta Napoleon Harris and two (additional) draft picks.

27. It'll take more than Randy Moss to get the Raiders into the playoffs.
Like defense, a QB (Kerry Collins stinks), a decent running game...

20. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously.
For everything that fucker has done... while most of it was the sort of funny shenanigans akin to Bart Simpson and otherwise even entertaining, there's no way he should have been let off freely when he ran into (nudged) a female cop with his car. Dangerous, disrespectful, anyone else would be locked up for 5 years.

But that's not Moss's fault. It's our system's fault. Capital punishment. "Those who have capital don't get the punishment."

Even that televermin Judge Judy told a defendant about her cockameme belief about how those who do better don't deserve as much time for bad behavior. What a ******. The law is supposed to be absolute, or as other republicans have told me. This favoritism stuff is a joke, just as much as she is and I dearly hope she's no Democrat or anything even remotely left. (But if Jerry Springer can claim to be a Dem while two-facedly running a filth show, then anyone can be) Not that I like judge shows anyway, but she's a pompous windbag...

31. The Vikings should have gotten more for the trade
The dysfunction continues.

Hail Mary loss in '75
0-4 in Super Bowls
Wide left in '98
41-doughnut in 2000
A current owner who would move the team to LA if the NFL would let him
A prospective owner who can't tell the truth on a resume and might not be able to afford the team.
Now trade the best player for a stiff and two draft picks.

Why, why do I cheer for this team? It's like being in a dysfunctional relationship that you can't get out of.

Skol, baby, skol.

35. I don't recollect any crying....
When he left Marshall.

Maybe Chris Henry will replace him.
For getting two unsportsmanlike-conduct penalties and being ejected at Rutgers Saturday, West Virginia star wide receiver Chris Henry should be suspended for a game.

For making a spectacle of himself and disrespecting West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez on the sideline afterward, Henry should get another game.

And for raising his left hand and extending his middle finger at the Rutgers crowd as he left the field, Henry should be gone for the season.
