35. For a guy who makes 18 million...

he's not a great defender (only decent), his BA has slipped from the awesome numbers he put up in 99 and 00, he's definitely not a power hitter, he had a pedestrian OBP last year (worst since his rookie year), he's not a great base runner. IMO I'd rather pay Rivera more money than Jeter. He's a very good player that should not be getting paid more than Bonds. Plus he couldn't hold Nomar or ARod's jock.

may never have A-rod/Bonds kind of numbers, during that time he was one of those players who ALWAYS made the big hit during the playoffs. ALWAYS. That time may have passed though...
