I'm sure some of you parents will reconsider being liberal after finding out what living in a liberal county like this will do to your children. :P :silly: :eyes: :nuke:

Just click anywhere on the first page. Skip the intro, it's annoying. Click on anthem and take a look. Turn the volume down . . . it's going to be a bit loud.

IMO, this guy is damn good.

Edit: you have to have broadband, dialup is going to be a no-go.

Edit2: you also need flash. If your computer is a POS it just may be DOA if you try the site.

I've had a blast living here so far, and luckily I'll have a few more years to enjoy it.

8. Ugh...
sorry. Rotterdam-style hardcore is probably my absolute LEAST favourite sub-genre of electronic dance (and this is coming from someone who otherwise LOVES techno and electronica). To each his own, I guess.

12. Really? That's a shame. I'm quite fond of most electronic music
other than terror (yikes!) and happy hardcore (fucking annoying). Are you familiar with DJ tiësto? He'd probably be right up your alley.

14. Actually, I was listening to some of his stuff just a few days ago.
He's pretty decent, but he reminds me a little too much of Paul Oakenfold sometimes...and I like my electronica to be dark and sinister-sounding. Heh.

19. Eh, yeah. He does it times.
But it's still quality stuff. A lot depends on taste as you said. Some hardcore is awesome, and some is so annoying it makes me angry. I usually prefer the harder stuff myself. If you want scary . . . Rotterdam Terror Corps is who you're looking for. They're about the scariest guys around. I can't say I like them much, but they've got quite a scary following.

22. Not much for scary, myself.
And I've heard enough of RTC to know that I don't really like them (although one of their shows might be an interesting experience if I were properly chemically altered). My idea of "dark" is somethign with a wicked and slightly sinister bassline and maybe some minor-key synths. If I want evil, instead of merely dark, there's a lot of industrial that fills the bill nicely.

Actually, lately I've been getting into a lot of minimalist stuff...Monolake are a current favourite.
